The mission of the Master of Public Administration (MPA) Program is to educate students for tomorrow's management and leadership positions in the public sector, including local governments, state governments, and nonprofit agencies. Public administrators in these positions are called on to act professionally, responsibly, and effectively as they pursue public purposes. The MPA Program is designed to fill the educational demands and needs in East Texas for better qualified public administrators. The MPA Program serves as a resource to promote professional administration of government and nonprofit agencies in our region.
