I've worked this as a hybrid degree program with some courses being classroom based and the rest online and I actually chose Regis University because it is a local brick and mortar based institution. I've found the online courses to take significantly more time and effort. There is always a great deal of required reading and typically several papers to write for each class. Keeping up with the classroom discussions online is time consuming but also enlightening and rewarding. I'm just working on my Capstone Project now and should graduate in December of this year. Whether this degree will advance my career or not in the long run remains to be seen of course but I feel I've learned quite a bit and I have been recommended for a promotion at work which might not have been the case had I not been nearing completion of this degree.
