My instructors have been, for the most part, very helpful throughout my first year of study. Instructors are indeed hired by Northeastern, but can reside all over the globe. However, this provides for a more diverse learning experience. I would strongly recommend this program.
The most significant negative aspect of this program is the cost, but the Northeastern Online MBA makes up for it with its superb flexibility, approach to learning, and world class faculty. I know two peers that took two years off and did the traditional MBA at Northeastern and they have vouched that the coursework and materials used in the online program are virtually identical to everything they used and experienced.
Very easy to navigate through the online courses. Tons of resources available to assist with any problems or issues.
Curriculum is challenging and beneficial to my daily work. Helps not only with job function, but also with how to time manage. The facilitators are extremely helpful.
Being able to do the work according to my schedule is a huge benefit. The assignments that are due during the week, help keep you from falling behind and are not extremely time consuming. These assignments are usually discussion posts.
The MBA offered at Northeastern University has been very rewarding thus far. I have been challenged in each and every course during my first year and all faculty members expect nothing but your very best effort. I would strongly recommend this program for any business professional looking to advance their career and do not have time to attend the actual ground campus.

I was a student in this program about a year ago. There is very little involvement with NEU at all. The instructors and advisors are vendored out to a company in Canada. If you don't mind learning from someone other than NEU instructors then it should be fine for you...otherwise you are getting a education from someone else with a NEU name.
