This program is accredited by CEPH (Council on Education for Public Health). An undergraduate average of 3.0 is required for those beginning studies; however, the admissions decision is based on a number of factors, including past academic performance, along with the information contained in the personal statement, recommendations, work experience, community involvement, and school extracurricular activities.
Getting my MPH was probably one of the best decisions I have made. I love the small ratio of faculty to students and the small class size. I also love that I'm known by name and not by a number. My professors have always kept me focused and are always there when I needed them! I am so impressed with the sense of community at NYMC that I am considering pursuing my DrPH degree at NYMC after graduation.
