I enrolled at NLU to complete a BSM in General Management. The teachers I encountered online were great, but there was very little interaction between students. Courses seem rushed. You can only take one at a time in the program and each only lasts 5-7 weeks. Despite this, their "accelerated" program takes 16 months and equates to a single year of school. Communication from Admissions was average at best. Fairly expensive too. Over $20k for what turned out to be a year of school. For an online school with little reputation, that is shameful.

The staff are personable and approachable but the University itself is lacking in organization. Student teachers have to setup their own observation hours for each class without any direction.
There is a definite lack of communication between students expectations and what they were advised. Many students feel they were not told very important information regarding the order of classes to be taken to obtain the degree.
My paperwork was thrown out two years after being admitted to the College of Education. I had to re-apply and go through the process over again and ask for letters of recommendations and official copies of transcripts over again.
Make sure you know EXACTLY how to accomplish the program you enroll in, do not trust your advisor because they may not know the correct information.
