The master of business administration program is designed to provide business students a thorough understanding of theory and application related to the business environment so they can collect and analyze data, formulate analytically sound decisions, and understand their likely consequences. Their coursework encourages them to explore the global perspective of the business environment while learning to make regionally relevant decisions for their organization. Students are immersed in current news and how it applies to their business world today. NAU refers to it as the “Learn it Tonight, Use it Tomorrow” MBA curriculum. The MBA provides you with an innovative curriculum that includes both the traditional MBA content areas as well as the rapidly changing skills needed for effective leadership and management. You will gain an integrated knowledge of accounting, marketing, management information systems, organizational behavior, finance, economics, operations management, and quantitative analysis. The curriculum is structured to take nine core courses and select three electives. Emphasis areas are offered in accounting, healthcare administration, human resource management, management and international business. The program can be completed entirely online or by a blended model with our campus locations.
