This certificate program is a great way for individuals whom may have a lower undergraduate GPA or, not as concrete of an interest in a complete degree program within the Biblical studies arena. However, if upon completion the learner discovers a deeper passion to continue their theological studies, this program certificate carries over into the degree program. Therefore the learner will not loose the credits earned.
Another good use for this certificate is for any lay learner that has no desire to become a pastor or educator of theology, yet desires to personally grow in the knowledge of theology.
