Program Details

The online Master of Social Work degree program is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.  Emphasis is placed on advanced generalist practice in rural and Native American communities.  To achieve this, the curriculum emphasizes multi-system, multi-level approaches where practitioners and clients collaborate to enhance the functioning and resilience within systems through building on existing strengths.  You will learn about local, historical, and contemporary social issues within a global perspective.  The program develops a framework for practice guided by personal and professional values and ethics.  Graduates possess the ability to bring a disciplined, compassionate presence to a caring and ethical practice.
