The master’s degree in Youth Development from Kansas State University is a 36-credit-hour program for youth development professionals that uses a strengths-based approach to examine and engage with current issues in youth development. The includes a practicum and independent study, and focuses on different aspects of youth development such as adolescents and their families, program design, topics in contemporary youth issues, policy that affects youth, and cultural contexts.
