While numerous nursing programs have lengthy wait lists Grand Canyon University boasts they do not have a wait list for those looking to complete their RN to BSN education online. In addition, they seem to be very willing to work with transfer students who may have found it difficult to finish their education at another university. With smaller class sizes and options for both full-time and part-time students the only downside to the program could be seen as the tuition. Tuition isn't cheap but still on par with other private universities.

I grew up in Arizona and many of my peers attended GCU. Likewise, family members have graduated from the RN program and have excelled in this field, rising to lead ICU departments, work for the CDC, and even be hired as a consultant helping other hospitals and care networks remain compliant with all the recent regulation changes. Furthermore, several colleagues teach at GCU and I myself even pursued a teaching position with the university. GCU has a standard of excellence that few other colleges attain. I highly recommend GCU.
