Sponsored Description: With 20 departments across the arts, humanities, natural and social sciences, and technology, Frostburg State University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences offers a range of 37 undergraduate programs and four master’s degree programs. Frostburg is committed to providing students with hands-on, experiential learning for “real life” experiences including study abroad, undergraduate research with faculty mentors, and creative performance and production. Our curriculum is in response to emerging societal needs and includes a range of interdisciplinary offerings in areas such as ethnobotany, international studies, and sustainability. The college mission is implemented through a diverse, recognized, and credentialed faculty committed to excellence in teaching, learning, scholarship, and creative artistic production.
