I am a graduate of the M.S. in Systems Management(IS) program from Florida Institute of Technology. Having received my undergraduate degree from a traditional 'brick & mortar' university; my opinion is there was nothing easy or easier about earning my degree via Florida Tech's online program. It was extremely challenging especially when I underestimated the amount of additional study time I found myself needing (20+ hours) per week. Like at any college or university, some of the faculty are great and some are not so great, but for the most part I found the faculty at Florida Tech (at least the professors I had) were very professional and I enjoyed their class. The online learning environment suited my particular style of learning in that I like to feel responsible for my own course work - when and how I studied. One of the pros was that we received the course outline or syllabus at the beginning of each course so therefore there were never any surprises as to when an exam was to be taken or when an assignment was due. A major con was that online learning for me, took extreme discipline, time management and a certain level of commitment. I had a very positive experience with my online program - because of my experience, I can say that I would have no issues with continuing my education through another online program.
