The online business administration program is rigorous and focused on leadership development of EVERY student! It is a very flexible program. There are a lot of strict parameters in place to maintain the integrity of the program. The same Professor that teaches the face-to-face class teaches the online class. The focus of the faculty and staff is student learning and success. You will have a great experience at ECU.
Students in the bachelor of science in business administration work in teams learning both the subject matter and how to collaborate virtually. Frequent interactive chats occur with guest speakers.
This is a wonderful program! I worked full time and have a child. This program allowed me to take courses online at my own pace to finish my degree. The faculty really take time to listen to their students and make sure you are learning the course work along the way. They were always willing to go above and beyond to help! I have taught courses within ECU's graduate online program since 2002 and we have a very strong program. We are AACSB accredited, offer a number of certificates for specialization, include technology that facilitates both synchronous and asynchronous interaction, require the use of proctors to ensure the integrity of student work, and all faculty are "real" ECU College of Business faculty who typically teach the very same classes in both online and F2F versions.
The online Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program is unique in that each class is limited in size and thus has the feel of a face-to-face class. The classes have weekly interaction with faculty and other students which creates a better learning environment than some traditional classes.
