This is a small school that ordinarily people outside of the state of North Carolina have not heard of. I have seen many ECU and Pirate (their mascot) stickers on cars so I can only assume that it is a popular school in this state. Personally I have a colleague who graduated from this school and she seems well educated and prepared for her job,
This is the largest teachers college in the state of North Carolina. This university takes the education of future teachers very seriously and wants all students to succeed in their chosen endeavors. I acquired my alternative teaching licensure via this institution. I am glad I attended because of their innovation with online technology and satellite course offerings.
