ECU Online MBA is one of the only AACSB accredited fully online. Faculty are full-time and are have terminal degrees (Ph.D.'s) in their fields. Value is supberb.
The Online MBA program at ECU is current, rigorous and of a very high quality. As someone who has also taught at two other institutions, I can unreservedly say that you are getting a top-notch education when you enter the MBA at ECU. Not only is the program high-quality, taught by very qualified, caring faculty, but the whole experience starting with your advisors is single-focused: the success of each student!
The classes are rigorous and interactive. Because the enrolled students are typically working professionals, the discussions and chats are amazingly informative.
The MBA program at ECU is a great example of a high-quality, yet inexpensive online program. The College of Business trains its faculty in how teach online. It also implements various initiatives to ensure that the learning outcomes from its online program are equal to those of its face to face program.
The CoB also provides a large number of scholarships to its online students to ensure that everyone can get a great education at a low cost.
I have taught courses within ECU's graduate MBA program since 2002 and we have a very strong program. We are AACSB accredited, offer a number of certificates for specialization, include technology that facilitates both synchronous and asynchronous interaction, require the use of proctors to ensure the integrity of student work, and all faculty are "real" ECU College of Business faculty who typically teach the very same classes in both online and F2F versions.
This online program consist of classes with all professors having PhD and small class sizes. The online classes are developed specifically for the online environment with weekly interaction with faculty and other students. The only difference between these courses and face-to-face classes is that they are asynchronous. Interaction with other students is awesome. The courses also allow for more interaction than a traditional FTF class as the environment for communicating isn't limited to a specific time each week.
High standards and continuous course improvement is maintained at ECU College of Business. At least 50% of coursework must be proctored by an approved proctor with the UNC system.
