I like the programme, as it offers flexibility in a quite affordable price, even for students from outside USA. Yet, the requirement of bachelor degree that must be the same subject area could still be reviewed since I believe that more non education bachelor graduates who are interested in joining this programme will find it hard to fulfill this requirement,
I like this school's program because it is one of the best graduate schools for education in the entire nation. The school attracts a diverse group of applicants and has many partnerships with different schools around New York City.

Columbia University Teachers College distance learning masters program in Computing in Education at Teachers College began in 1983. The prgram is small and VERY competitive -- only about twenty educators are admitted to the program each year. In 2007 Teachers College began a version of this program in which students may take *all* of their courses online. Before that a campus residency intensive session was required. Online courses use combinations of asynchronous discussion forums and Web video meetings. They emphasize inquiry, reflection, and active project work. Online students have the option of coming to Teachers College in July to take live courses with faculty, work with other students, and see New York City. Or they can do all their course work online. Students in both versions of the program also have the opportunity to come together in person for a two-day workshop before the July session begins. This is top ranked university and the education school is one of the best in the nation. Yes, this degree is pricey, but you will learn with the very best education minds in the United States and the name "Columbia University" is golden among educators.
