Sponsored Description:
Your success is our cause. Revitalize your classroom with immediately applicable skills and extremely customized projects all while earning your Master of Music with a Conducting specialization. Especially valuable for secondary teachers, our blended format Master of Music allows you to use your own schools’ programs as a conducting laboratory throughout the degree’s coursework which offers instruction in band, orchestra, and choir. This trifecta of a curriculum prepares students for more competitive, combined teaching positions, in addition to other employment opportunities. The program also gives you the advantage of participating in an exclusive, two-week seminar held on the Colorado State campus each summer. The annual summer conducting seminar includes hands-on workshop sessions taught by CSU faculty as well as some of the most prestigious pedagogues from around the country. The curriculum focuses on score preparation, baton technique, rehearsal strategies, and suggested repertoire. The online portion of this program allows you to earn your master's degree while working full time during the school year, and the on-campus seminars are completed during the summer – fitting nicely into most teachers' schedules. Earn your Master of Music with a Conducting specialization from a university that makes your achievements our purpose.
