This school provides an excellent online education. This school provided me with an introductory course to familiarize me as a new students to the online world of learning. Professors were very proficient, organized and helpful with online learning. I was skeptical with applying myself to online learning but Clarion University proved to be an outstanding learning institution.
The iMSLS program was comprehensive and prepared me well for my career. Almost every instructor/professor was a true expert in LIS with real-world experience to share. As a working professional with a family, an online program was the only option that suited me, and Clarion's ALA-accredited program was competitively priced and well-suited to my needs. I have made contacts through the program who have enriched my studies and LIS work.
I guess the program was fine but I don't really feel like the classes were anything extraordinary. Having this degree hasn't helped me. The way things are in the hiring field, I would strongly advise against getting a library degree.
Good school for Library Science degree, very affordable, was blended between in person classes and online when I attended. Adjuct teachers were so so, but permanent faculty were great.
