Charter Oak State College is amazing. You get some of the best counseling and advising available. Whenever I e-mail my academic counselor a question, I get a response back within the same day. The degree program is very affordable and flexible. Charter Oak allows students to test out of certain courses via a variety of testing methods and applies those same credits toward a variety of degree programs. If time and money are the most important factors a student is considering, I'd say look no further than Charter Oak State College to assist in satisfying those needs. The Psychology program is comprehensive. I am very pleased with the level of education and attention I have received. I did not expect that from an online program, but have been pleasantly surprised.

Great school for working adults. I was looking for an affordable, online school that would compile the credits I had acquired here and there over the years. I went to Univ. of Phoenix, military satellite schools, junior colleges, and a private college. Charter Oak did not charge an exorbitant fee for each transfer credit (unlike Univ. of Phoenix, UOP). They accepted all of my credits (unlike UOP).
The teachers, classwork, and even the textbooks were excellent. You get what you put into each class; this is for working adults. The administration was very helpful.
Bottom line:
COSC accepts most transfer credits, affordably.
Accelerated classes for many courses.
Completely online.
