While Capella University may be a regionally accredited school, their doctoral psych programs are NOT APA ACCREDITED.
While technically you don't *need* a degree that is accredited by the American Psychological Association, good luck finding a job or an internship without one! Most employers will not even consider non-APA degree holders. Make sure you do your research about what your future careers will require!
The program was the worst. Most of the teachers were degrading to me because I questioned them when they were wrong. I believed I had the right to do this since I was paying for an education that I wasn't getting. I had a learning disability that had accommodations through the college that I had to fight with some of the instructors to honor. I wouldn't recommend that college to anyone.
I am about to graduate from Capella University's Undergraduate Psychology program. I have enjoyed everything about it. The teachers have been very supportive. I have gotten great response times for any issues I have had.

Be very careful when speaking to the sales reps of Capella or any other of their ilk. If you are seeking graduate school scholarships, be cautious of web sits advertising scholarships. For Profit use these as traps to gain potential students.
