The MBA program and reputation at Babson College is strong but one of the most impressive aspects is the Consulting Alliance Program. This program takes first-year students and places them on a team with others who have expressed an interest in a similar field. The team then works with a company and its representatives to complete a project that addresses an issue they are facing. At the conclusion of the project the team is able to present their findings and solutions to company executives. This program offers a valuable education in real world business and a great asset to any resume.
Babson is a solid choice for the learner that needs options. There are four distinct schedules to choose from, but each of them follow the same curriculum and ensure a balanced study approach.
As is common with many MBA programs these days, Babson offers core courses that all students must complete as well as elective courses to allow a learned to focus on an area of their desire within business.
Of distinction with this program is the core course offers. The courses present a favorable balance of personal development, business development, and cultural development. Many programs require only one "international" business course unless it is part of one's specialization. However, Babson includes two courses in the core outline as well as a law course that is sure to be of value to any business learner.
Babson has a GREAT public perception for their MBA programs. Some of the best MBAs in entrepreneurship come out of this online program. I have friend going there who has nothing but positive feedback about this program.
Babson has quite the reputation for coursework in entrepreneurship. I think that this is a solid, respected AACSB-accredited program, though I feel that this program is very expensive at $70,000! I would recommend a more affordable AACSB-accredited institution!
This school, F. W. Olin at Babson, has a good reputation. I am surprised they do not require a GMAT Score for online study.

This school DOES require the GMAT. **EDITORS NOTE: The fast track distance MBA described here does not *require* the GMAT. Here is the official verbage from Babson's Fast Track MBA admission page: "The admissions committee may determine that a GMAT score is needed if the initial review of application materials reveals specific areas of concern or question."

I was really surprised to see that Babson's Olin offers a distance degree option. They are consistently on other top ranked MBA lists, especially for entrepreneurs. They are well-known for their flexible and creative approach to business. I live on the East Coast so the residency is okay by me. If anyone has attended this program please post.
