Sponsored Description: Dynamic, versatile, and relevant in its real-world implementation, are the best words to describe the interactive curriculum presented by the School of Business. Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), the school provides innovative areas of focus whether you’re considering an M.B.A. or starting your educational journey with an A.A. in Business Administration. Each online program is strategically designed to be interdisciplinary in nature and to promote effective professional development skills that translate from the classroom into the workplace. This cross-curricular approach can be effective in providing the theoretical and practical knowledge professionals desire in preparation for leadership in private, public, and nonprofit sectors. Through continual self-assessment and partnership with industry advisory councils, the School of Business shapes its curriculum to stay ahead of emerging industry trends. Whether you’re interested in business, accounting, computer systems, cybercrime, management, or marketing, each School of Business program is taught by scholar-practitioners, many are working leaders in their area of study. In addition to the interaction with quality instructors, many students are actively involved outside the classroom through affiliated organizations such as the Golden Key Honor Society, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and Student Veterans of America to name a few.

I would be weary about American Public University, because it is a for-profit institution, which puts it on the same level as schools like the University of Phoenix and Devry University. I'm happy to see an affordable tuition, but when it comes to a graduate business educaiton, I think that you get what you pay for.
After taking several classes with this school the professors are knowledgeable and the school is the most affordable online school. Nothing but good experiences; I graduated with my Bachelors in Marketing in Feb. 2011 from American Military University which is their sister school. This school is also great for individuals that have taken classes at a nationally accredited university and want to transfer to a school that has regional accreditation because they have both. This happened to me during my undergraduate studies. They are only missing AACSB-Accreditation but not many online schools have this and once they do you can take way affordability.
The APU MBA program, promotes initiative and self-directed learning. While there is guidance offered by the highly qualified faculty, the student's benefit will be directly proportional to the amount of effort put in.
The condensed time format is challenging but manageable, and allows a student to take one course at a time and still complete the degree within the 7 year limit.
This program is ACBSP accredited in addition to the regional accreditation of the school.
The downside, which is not unique to this school, is because of the cohort nature of the courses, being able to respond to discussion posts is dependent upon timely submission of posts from classmates - this is not always a given. Further, due to the open enrollment nature of the university (which I generally regard as a positive), there can be a vast gulf between the knowledge and experience of cohort members. This can stymie advancement of discussion.
All in all, a very good MBA program, courses taught are consistent with MBA programs at other accredited institutions.
Excellent interface. Good professor interaction. Challenging but manageable with a full-time job. Everyone is friendly and financial aid is a breeze if you follow instructions. This is an excellent value for the money. Highly recommended!

This is one of the schools I am seriously considering for my MBA. I am about to receive my bachelors from them and their program is extremely affordable and adult friendly.
