Sponsored Description: Take a rewarding journey examining the evolution of humankind through the study of its greatest philosophers, literature, cultures, and works of art that define civilization from antiquity to present day. Inspired by the Great Books tradition, the School of Arts and Humanities enriches students seeking to expand their horizons by participating in a unique collection of interdisciplinary courses. The school’s curriculum critically engages students through the development of professional skills such as research, analytic interpretation, and interpersonal communication, while also delivering a rich educational experience. Students choose from a broad array of online degree programs that include history, communication, cybercrime, English, humanities, management, psychology, leadership, and more. These versatile programs give students the opportunity to select from programs that relate to many popular career fields and to collaborate with peers that have similar interests. Many students become actively involved outside of the classroom through affiliated organizations such as the Golden Key Honor Society, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and Student Veterans of America to name a few.

This program is easy to facilitate. The professors are nice, patient, and professional. The course work is in-depth, but not overwhelming. The humanities team was so cooperative and supportive that every time I got off the phone with them my questions were answered and my problem was solved. It's wonderful that the program is not so expensive, and there is no application fee to apply for the school.I recommend this online program for anyone because after comparing this program to others, APU was my number 1 choice with no questions. I'm glad that I made the right choice. I have already recommended APU to several of my friends who were looking for an online degree program.
So far, I have found the Humanities M.A. program to be very interesting and engaging. You are required to do a lot of reading and researching, and they paper writing is extensive.
Thus far, and as a first semester student, I have found my initial two courses both engaging and challenging. The introductory research course (which is mandatory) will engage and sharpen your abilities for research and writing.
