The Adler School of Professional Psychology emphasizes the need to train socially responsible practitioners. In addition to providing students with knowledge and skills that enable them to provide traditional psychological services to a wide range of client populations, all degree programs at the School are designed to equip students with the skills necessary to effect community-based change. Practical training also plays an important role the Adler School. All students participate in two types of training – community engagement and clinical. The School partners with more than 500 community organizations in North America to place students in supervised training sites.
