ONLINE STUDENTS BEWARE! Brandman's "One Stop"/ financial aid department doesn't properly manage their accounts, nor do they communicate with you (one response from them took over a week!) You pay a premium to attend this school and they mismanage your money, causing you frustration at the start of every term, every new year you need financial aid, and if they misapply your payment or request the wrong amount of money for a specific term leaving you short, you are responsible for it. Since students can't pay their own bills with financial aid, you are at their mercy to do it for you. And when they do it wrong...you are accountable. Long story short, Brandman is the worst experience I have ever had with any store, college, customer service department, bank, etc. Too bad...my undergrad was at Chapman University (of which Brandman is part of their "family") and there I had a great experience. But mismanaging my investment? This is unacceptable. There are too many online MBA's that have actual people you can call (and who call you) to help you along your way. If you have the patience to manage inept people in the "One Stop" department that don't respond to you and don't do their jobs well, go ahead and take the risk. I only hope your experience is better than mine. And to the administration at Brandman...You need to revisit the "One Stop" idea. If you want to keep your students, have them refer people to you and hold you in any sort of esteem, you better take care of the students you have. I also recommend you revisit the principles taught in an Ethics course. Not applying funds, waiting 6 months to contact the student, then slapping penalties and interest on them...that is an unethical way of doing business. Period.
