The program is highly regarded among Cincinnati teachers who are choose online rather than classroom programs. Many of the administrators received their degrees from IWU as well. Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: A I have met many people while on mission trips who have studied at Moody, and I know that it is considered a very high-quality, Bible-based program. The people I have met have all spoken very highly about the programs they completed. Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: A Ohio University is a great school! I went to Miami (of Ohio), but if I could choose again, I'd pick OU. The education is high quality, but the prices are much better. I know all my friends who have been there have been happy with their choice. Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: B- I had many friends who went to Purdue, and every one of them really enjoyed it. I know they all felt that they had received a great education, although the price is pretty steep. Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: B Wright State is a decent school. I know they have a fairly good medical school, so the nursing program is likely a good quality one. I have known a few people to go through different programs at Wright State, and they have all gone on to be very successful. Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: B+ Antioch University's physical location is in one of the best small towns in Ohio. The city has a lot of culture (for the midwest) and is fairly liberal. The university is very similar to the town: cultured and liberal. I wouldn't be opposed to studying there. Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: B My cousin took a few classes at Ashland, and she didn't feel she was particularly challenged. She ended up transferring to another university closer to home, but I don't think she hated Ashland. It just wasn't a good fit for her. Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: A My friend works for National University, and she has only had great things to say about it. I am impressed by the range of programs offered, and the education department in particular is very highly rated. Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: A Harvard University is one of the best schools in the country. Having a degree from Harvard can only help you in the long run; everyone recognizes the name and knows how challenging the school is. Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: B The University of Toledo is a decent school. It's not the best program, but it's generally regarded as a pretty good school for a good price. UofT won't break the bank, but it's also not the best school you could find. Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: B As a former teacher in Cincinnati, a lot of my friends earned their Master's through UC's education department. They offer a solid program with good classes, but it is a little expensive for an online program. Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: A Texas A&M has a great reputation. It's known for being one of the better schools in Texas, and they have very flexible yet challenging programs. They also offer live classes at multiple locations that can be great if you're in the area! Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: B Loyola is one of the schools I considered for my Master's. They have a good reputation and a very flexible program that can really fit anyone's needs. Their prices are relatively affordable and they are willing to work with you to create a good program for whatever you're looking for. Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: A Indiana State University has a good reputation. It's considered as good as Purdue and Indiana University, but it's much more affordable. The professors are supposedly very good (although I did not go there, I have heard it's great!). Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: A My best friend is currently getting her Master's through Southern New Hampshire University, and she loves it! Her professors are challenging yet understanding, and she has really enjoyed getting to know her classmates through the forums. She has classmates all over the world, and she's been able to connect with a lot of them through the classwork. I'm considering also enrolling here. Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: A Bowling Green has one of the best education programs in the country. I know their early childhood department in particular is very highly ranked. Teachers who attend BGSU are very well prepared for the classroom! Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: A My cousin is currently getting her Master's from Kent State's online program. I know they are very flexible with how many classes she takes, and they allowed her to do an internship in Florida while still taking classes. She's been very happy there! Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: C+ I had a friend that started college at Regis, but she ended up leaving due to the high costs. She liked the program she was in, but it was too hard for her to afford the classes. It's a good school, just very expensive. Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: B+ Eastern Kentucky University is a good school. I know a few people who have studied there, and they were all pleased with their classes and programs. They have a good reputation and offer a good education. Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: B Columbus State University isn't a "big-name" school, but the education is still good. They have a good variety of programs, and their prices are very affordable compared to other schools with similar programs. Post On: May 22, 2012 Grade: A I had a friend who studied here, and I know she was very happy with her program. The education department in particular is VERY highly regarded, and they offer a really good variety of degree options compared to other online education programs. Forum
