Program Details

WGU’s online Master of Science in Information Technology Management (MSITM) program prepares students to manage, innovate, and lead technology teams to improve productivity and outcomes. Designed in collaboration with IT experts, the MSITM degree program focuses on leadership, technology operations and integration, sourcing, risk, planning, influence, finance, and solutions development. The curriculum also incorporates the PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification. Graduates of the MSITM program will be equipped with the skills, knowledge, and certifications necessary to be a successful technology leader in any industry.  

WGU’s online programs deliver unparalleled flexibility, allowing students to complete coursework whenever and wherever works best for their schedules. Students also benefit from the competency-based learning model, which lets them complete most courses as quickly as they prove mastery of the material, making it possible to accelerate their progress and potentially graduate faster.   • Applicants must demonstrate IT networking experience through at least one of the following methods:
    • A bachelor’s degree in information systems or information technology.
    • Submit a resume for review showing at least 3 years of significant and recent IT experience.
    • Verification of a current high-level certification such as: CCNA, MCSA, CEH or CISSP that has been earned within the last 5 years.
