Program Details

Upper Iowa University offers the online MPA with a concentration in Public Management. This program is designed to equip public administrators (aspiring and seasoned) with the skills and knowledge needed to manage public policy in the political and legal environment. The curriculum, framed by the public values of democracy, diversity, and due process, focuses on leadership and management, meaningful participation in the policy process, engaging a diverse citizenry, and improving decision making.

This Public Management emphasis is designed to assist students develop the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully manage in complex and dynamic public organizational settings. The curriculum includes the following courses:
