Founded in 1837, the University of Louisville is a state supported research university located in Kentucky’s largest metropolitan area. It was a municipally supported public institution for many decades prior to joining the university system in 1970. The University has 12 academic schools and colleges.
UofL offers a full range of undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificates.
The University’s mission is to teach a diverse student population, practice and apply research, and provide engaged service outreach to the local and global community. Select degrees are available online. Students can achieve the education they need to accomplish goals from wherever is most convenient. Courses are taught by world-class university faculty who teach online and on campus, meaning students get the UofL experience without ever stepping foot on campus.
