School Details

Union College, a small, private, four-year liberal arts college, is located in the Appalachian mountain town of Barboursville, Kentucky. Union College was founded in 1879 when thirty-five local resident stockholders joined together to create a college that would help the local area grow and thrive and create opportunities for their families. The college is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. It seeks “to provide a well-rounded academic experience for its students and offers programs that enhance intellectual, social, and personal transformation through pursuing wisdom, knowledge, spiritual growth, and service.”
