The School of Applied Science and Technology provides learners with innovative degree programs that facilitate learning, engagement and discovery in the applied science and technology fields. The undergraduate curriculum focuses on mastering the knowledge, techniques, skills, modern tools and advanced technology of the discipline. Students learn how to design, analyze and effectively use systems, components and methods with a framework of quality and continuous improvement, understanding applicable standards for occupational health and safety, the environment and regulatory procedure and effectively communicate within a technical discipline. Undergraduate degree programs include the Associate in Applied Science, Associate in Science in Applied Science and Technology and Bachelor of Science in Applied Science and Technology programs. The Nuclear Energy Engineering Technology program offered under the Bachelor of Science in Applied Science and Technology is accredited by ABET.
