School Details

Terra State Community College is a two-year accredited commuter college located in Fremont, Ohio. Terra has a long history of serving the community and providing an affordable and accessible education. Terra was founded in 1968 as Vanguard Technical Institute to appease the demand for a local institution. It was originally used as an engineering and business school. Over the years the school developed into a source of information and support to the entire community. The school offers associate’s degrees as well as transfer programs for those students who wish to transfer to a four-year institution after they graduate from Terra.

eLearning at Terra State provides online courses and degrees for students who need flexibility in their studies. While earning a Terra State online degree you will benefit from the same services on-campus students enjoy, such as tutoring and library services. However, in most online courses you will set your own schedule and just pace yourself to turn in assignments as they are due.
