The curriculum, which is designed for K-12 teachers and requires candidates to be proficient in Spanish as well as English, focuses on:

  • History of English as a second language and bilingual education
  • Foundations of English as a second language and bilingual education
  • English as a second language/Bilingual assessment
  • Content-specific pedagogies
