Southeastern Technical College’s CompTIA A+ Certified Preparation program equips students with the skills needed to work towards CompTIA A+ certification. Earning the CompTIA A+ certificate is the platform for starting a career in information technology. The exam for the certificate covers the basics of computer technology, installation and configuration of PCs, and basic networking. Completing this program can aid candidates in pursuing education at the associate's or bachelor's level, prepare them for entry-level employment, or strengthen knowledge already gained from another degree program.

- All online courses require students attend one proctored event at the Vidalia or Swainsboro campus at a specific date and time set by the instructor. Students living further than 75 miles from either campus can arrange an off-site proctor for the same date.
- Accuplacer placement test may be replaced by satisfactory ACT or SAT scores or documentation of successful completion of college-level English and math courses.
