School Details

Prescott College was established in 1963 with the goal “to produce the leaders increasingly crucial to successfully meeting the challenges of the changing world.” Over a half-century of leadership in developing and refining such new educational models has kept Prescott College at the forefront of schools seeking to address the urgent issues that face human societies right now.  The themes students and faculty have identified over time as central to this effort include environmental awareness, social justice and peace studies, sustainable communities and sustainable agriculture, outdoor leadership, teacher preparation that includes multicultural education, and artistic and critical response to the issues of our world.

Prescott offers academic degrees at all levels, focusing on liberal arts, the environment, and social justice. Prescott’s Limited Residency program allows students to earn a degree from a distance while providing on-campus opportunities that enrich the experience. Other programs are offered 100% online. Prescott online degrees are taught by the same core faculty and experts in the field who teach on campus. Customize your online learning and tailor the degree to meet your needs while studying in your own community.
