School Details

Blending “theory and practice,” Oregon Institute of Technology primes students for the workplace by focusing on technology education. Oregon Tech was established in 1947 when classes were first offered to students in a deactivated World War II military hospital near Klamath Falls. The Institute continued to expand and offered its first bachelor’s degrees in 1970. Then, in 1995, Oregon Tech issued its first master’s degree. By 2003, Oregon Tech had expanded its offerings once more through the addition of an online degree program. Today it offers innovative, professionally-focused degrees in such areas as:

  • Engineering
  • Health
  • Business
  • Technology
  • Applied Arts and Sciences

Today, Oregon Tech online degree programs offer more than 15 degree and degree completion programs, including associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degree programs, and a number of certificate programs. Oregon Tech online degrees feature the same rigor and attention as in-person classes but with the flexibility needed to learn without sacrificing other life commitments.
