Ohio University - Regional Higher Education - Undergraduate
Ohio University's Online Degree Completion Program maximizes the transfer of associate degree credits and provides options for students to complete some courses through their local community college. The degrees are built for students who have completed an associate degree from an accredited community college, regional campus, or technical college. Three programs prepare and qualify graduates for management and leadership positions in a variety of industries by building on general technical skills developed during earlier study. The Bachelor of Science in Applied Management (BSAM) focuses on professional business skills, also preparing students to enter an MBA program; the Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies (BTAS) focuses on leadership and communication; the bachelor’s in Customer Service Management concentrates on professional skills with a focus on retail and consumer careers. Ohio University, founded in 1804, is consistently ranked in the top 2 percent of American public universities by U.S. News & World Report. The Princeton Review praises accessibility of the professors, the beauty of the campus, and the quality of the college newspaper and Peterson’s Guide recognizes the university for academic quality and value. OHIO is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
