Northland Community and Technical College implements a Quality Matters “QM” Program, which is faculty-centered and peer reviewed, to ensure the standards of their online and blended distance learning courses. In addition, a self-assessment allows prospective students to determine if they would be good candidates for the online classroom environment.
ONLINE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
Northland Community and Technical College offers distance education opportunities in the areas of:
- Business and Entrepreneurship
- Health and Human Services
- Liberal Arts and Sciences
Many courses are delivered completely online, but students should be aware of specific criteria for possible on-campus requirements. Courses may also be accelerated. Students interact with peers and faculty through message boards and email. Typical course assignments are integrated with quizzes and tests, and exams may need to be proctored. Academic advising provides added support.
