Nazarene Bible College was founded in 1964 when it was authorized by the General Assembly of the Church of the Nazarene. In 1972 Nazarene Bible College was granted applicant status by the Association for Biblical Higher Education, then in 1974 candidate status was granted and in 1976 full accreditation was granted. Today, Nazarene Bible College is one of only ten Nazarene institutions of higher education in the United States. The value of education is held in high regard at Nazarene Bible College and the Universities purpose is to glorify Jesus Christ as Lord by preparing adults to evangelize, disciple, and minister to the world. The mission of Nazarene Bible College is met through the core values of learning and instruction, development of the individual and service and mission. Through the Association for Biblical Higher Education, Commission on Accreditation and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, The Higher Learning Commission, Nazarene Bible College is accredited to award certificates, Associates degrees and Bachelor’s degrees. Nazarene Bible College is a private, four year, not for profit institution and is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

When applying to Nazarene Bible College, there is no application fee but students are required to submit an electronic application, a short essay, official transcripts and two recommendations. Nazarene Bible College has an open acceptance policy for interested students. Students who decided to attend Nazarene Bible College come back for a following year of classes at a rate 50% for full time students and 33% for part time students. There are a total of 104 faculty members, all of which are part of the instructional faculty. These faculty members typically hold their highest degree in their specific field and place a heavy importance on student’s interaction and personalized attention. The faculty is able to provide specialized attention to students through interaction in small class sizes due to a 14:1 student to faculty ratio.

For students wanting to take classes toward a degree, but who have a hectic schedule, Nazarene Bible College offers classes that can be completed entirely online. Nazarene prides themselves in the quality of their online programs and boasts a 94% class completion rate when the national average is 47%.

The yearly tuition and fees for enrollment at Nazarene Bible College is $11,250 for both in and out of state students. Nazarene Bible College offers a tuition payment plan and the assistance and guidance of its financial aid office to help students with the cost of higher education.
