Moraine Park Technical College is a two-year, public institution of higher education, with a main campus located in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and one of 16 schools in the Wisconsin Technical College System. Added campuses are located in Beaver Dam and West Bend, and regional centers are located in Jackson, Hartford and Ripon.

Moraine Park Technical College offers more than 100 certificates and associate’s degrees in career areas. FLEx Degrees offer career opportunities in Business, Child Care, Education, Health, Information Technology and Water Quality. Customized training is available for business and industry community members. Basic education including GED training and ESL classes are also offered. About 27 percent of students at Moraine Park Technical College are enrolled in some distance education. Some online programs are purely online while others incorporate some classroom elements. Students can earn 12 associate’s degrees and technical diplomas, 10 certificates, and two apprenticeships completely online.

Moraine Park Technical College offers students more than 30 clubs and organizations, Student Senate, and Student Government. The MPTC campus provides a cafeteria for students with daily specials, grill menus, and specialty coffees. Student services include academic advising, the Career Center, counseling services, disability services, employment services, and tutoring.

Moraine Park Technical College has an open admissions policy. To apply for admission, complete an application and submit payment for the $30 application fee and submit transcripts from all institutions previously attended. After a student has been accepted they need to complete a placement assessment and register for classes. The priority deadline for fall semester admissions is April 15 and October 15 for spring, but applications are accepted year round.

About 67 percent of students at Moraine Park Technical College receive financial aid. It is encouraged for students to apply for aid each year after January 1 or after applying for admission. To apply for admission, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid using MPTC’s school code: 005303. It usually takes about 6-8 weeks to review and process financial aid requests. Types of financial aid offered include: Pell Grants, Federal SEO Grant, Academic Competitiveness Grant, Bureau of Indian Affairs Grant, WHEG Program, TIP Grant, Minority Retention Grant, Wisconsin Academic Higher Education Scholarship, Subsidized Direct Loan, and Unsubsidized Direct Loans.
