Messenger College is a four-year private school located in Euless, Texas. MC was established in 1987 and is the national college of the Pentecostal Church of God. Messenger College offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Ministry with concentrations in the following:
- Pastoral Ministry
- Youth Ministry
- Intercultural Ministry
- Biblical Exposition
- Music and Business Administration.
Classes are offered during the daytime, evening, and weekend. Online classes are offered in the following programs:

Messenger College has 60 students and 10 faculty members, giving the university a 9:1 student-to-faculty ratio. Of all faculty members, one teaches full-time and nine teach part-time. About 78 percent of undergraduate students study full-time and 22 percent study part-time.
The student body contains 42 percent female students and 58 percent male students. About 85 percent of all students are white, with the remaining students being American Indian (10%) and black (5%). About 52 percent of students are ages 24 and under, with 48 percent of students being ages 25 and above. About 20 percent of students are from Texas and 80 percent are from out-of-state.
The retention rate for first-time, full-time students is 58 percent, and the retention rate for first-time, part-time students is 50 percent. The overall graduation rate is 20 percent.
The MC Commons offers fully secure, apartment-style, college-owned housing for students enrolled in classes full-time. On-campus living is estimated to cost $2,520 per year with $5,248 in additional living expenses. Off-campus living is estimated to cost $8,072 per year with $5,248 in additional living expenses.
Students have access to services such as: remedial tutoring, academic counseling, career counseling, and employment services for students. Special learning opportunities include distance education.
The Campus Ministry consists of chapel, local church attendance, field experience, leadership development, Friday night service, and life groups. Chapel is held every Wednesday for one hour. Students are expected to attend at least one Church service per week in addition to chapel and other services offered on campus. Students also must find a place on campus or at a local church where they can complete at least four hours of service per week.
Once a week students will be required to attend a one-hour, discussion-based session intended to sharpen both leadership and ministry skills. Every Friday night at 7:00 pm, students will gather for a time of corporate worship on campus. This worship experience will be student-driven and provide an opportunity for the students to exercise their gifts and callings. Each student will be assigned to a life group upon enrollment at MC. These groups meet regularly to encourage accountability, provide community and give opportunity for diverse experiences.
Tuition costs $8,410 per year and books and other supplies are estimated to cost $1,400 per year. Tuition payment plans are offered. Financial aid is offered in the form of state grants, federal grants, scholarships, and loans.
To qualify to receive financial aid, students must complete a FAFSA form and be evaluated to be in financial need. Approximately 92% of those attending Messenger College receive financial aid. Each student must also complete a VFAO Interview. Once the interview is complete, applicants will be able to view an estimate of their financial aid package. In order to complete the VFAO Interview, applicants will need an EFC (Expected Family Contribution), which is generated by completing the FAFSA.
Messenger College receives about 10 applications per year and accepts about 90 percent of those students. Statistically, 100 percent of men and 83 percent of women who apply will be accepted.
