Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts offers certificates of completion, associate’s degrees, and bachelor’s degrees. Curriculum gives students practice working in industry-equipped kitchens, hands-on training with experienced chef instructors, and experience in a real restaurant setting. Le Cordon Bleu focuses on the same techniques, fundamentals, and proficiencies as students at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.

Programs available include: Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts and Le Cordon Bleu Patisserie and Baking. The Associate of Occupational Studies in Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality and Restaurant Management is the only degree currently provided entirely online. Classes are offered during the daytime and evening.

Le Cordon Bleu features an on-campus, open-to-the-public restaurant called Technique. Each Technique restaurant is run by students, who prepare and serve the meals.

Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts has 1,560 students (all undergraduates) and 85 faculty members, giving the university a 27:1 student-to-faculty ratio. Of all faculty members, 42 teach full-time and 43 teach part-time. All students study full-time. The student body contains 46% female students and 54% male students. About 47% of all students are white with the remaining students being Hispanic (18%), black (8%), American Indian (5%), Asian (3%), and Native American (1%) with the remaining students being classified as having an unknown race (19%). About 37% of students are ages 24 and under with 63% of students being ages 25 and above. About 81% of students are from Arizona, 18% are from out-of-state, and 1% are from a foreign country. The overall graduation rate is 65% and the overall graduation rate by gender is 62% for males and 70% for females.

Students have access to services such as: academic counseling, career counseling, employment services for students, and placement services for completers.  

Tuition costs $12,912 per and books and other supplies are estimated to cost  $330 per year. Off-campus living is estimated to cost $6,517 per year with $2,905 in additional living expenses. Tuition payment plans are offered. Financial aid is offered in the form of state grants, federal grants, scholarships, and loans. To qualify to receive financial aid, students must complete a FAFSA form and be evaluated to be in financial need. Approximately 91% of those attending Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts receive financial aid.

Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts has an open admissions policy. Applicants must submit a complete application form with payment for the application fee, submit proof of high school graduation or equivalent, and participate in an admissions interview. Prospective students whose native language is not English are required to provide proof of English proficiency prior to admission.

Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Scottsdale is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association. All other Le Cordon Bleu institutions are nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges and/or the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools.
