School Details
IU Online hosts more than 200 online degrees, ranging from associate programs to doctoral degrees. Students can choose to enroll in one or two online courses or complete an entire degree. Students can pursue programs in business and law, computing and technology, education, humanities, recreation, library and museum studies, nursing and healthcare, public administration, public health, social work, and more.
Designed for busy working adults, many online courses can be completed on your own schedule. Classes are developed and taught by the same professors who teach students on campus.
Once prospective online students declare a program of interest, they are assigned a home campus for enrollment. That campus is in charge of your registration, advising, financial aid, and more. However, students are free to take online courses offered by any of IU’s campuses. Founded in 1820, Indiana University Bloomington is the flagship campus of IU’s multi-campus public university system. Other campus locations coordinating through IU Online include:
- Indiana University East (IU East)
- Indiana University Kokomo (IU Kokomo)
- Indiana University Northwest (IU Northwest)
- Indiana University South Bend (IU South Bend)
- Indiana University Southeast (IU Southeast)
