Faith Evangelical College and Seminary is a private, four-year evangelical Christian institution of higher learning located in Tacoma, Washington. Founded in 1969 as Faith Evangelical Lutheran Seminary by the organization Lutherans Alert-National. The goal of the institution was to rebuild conservative values because some felt that the Lutheran Church was becoming too liberal. The school’s mission states that the school exists to glorify God and to build Christian leaders to spread the word of God. Many graduates of Faith Evangelical College and Seminary go on to become counselors, church working, chaplains, pastors and missionaries throughout the globe.
