Program Details
The Advanced Standing track of Boston University’s online MSW degree is available to students who have earned a bachelor’s in Social Work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education in the last six years. The program can be completed in six semesters and includes online courses, weekly Live Classroom sessions, and a 1,000-hour field internship. Students can choose to major in Clinical or Macro Social Work Practice.
A primary goal of the program is to educate professional social workers to become leaders in addressing the needs of individuals, families, groups, and communities. The online master’s in social work aims to further social and economic justice.
