Program Details
A bachelor’s degree in Security Management can lead to a variety of careers in public or private management, government civil service, military, law enforcement, or private security. Students will learn principles and theories related to various types of security from international to information security.
The curriculum covers a wide range of issues including global terrorism, legal and ethical issues, physical security, program evaluation, and security administration. Classes include studies of current trending and nontraditional approaches to security and crime prevention. Graduates will be able to identify organizational security risk exposures, identify cost-effective mitigation strategies, and prepare recovery strategies.
