Program Details
The bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies focuses on theories of human development across the lifespan, including family and societal issues. Students will gain a firm foundation in the terminology, tools, and methods used in the field of child and family development.
Courses in the program can prepare students for certifications including Certified Family Life Educator (CFLE), Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS), or Child Development Associate (CDA). Some certifications will require specific course pathways as well as additional hands-on training, internships, or site visits.
