Master of Science in Nursing / Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
Norwich University

Program Details

With an MSN degree, nurses are able to build on prior learning and experiences to advance their knowledge, skills, and, ultimately, careers.  With the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner concentration, an online adult nurse practitioner program from Norwich University, RNs can steer their future in the direction that interests them.

This program prepares nurses to act as primary caregivers for the aging population.  The comprehensive curriculum teaches you to diagnose, treat, and care for the elderly and to provide advanced care to acutely ill adult patients.  Plus, students are prepared to sit for the AGACNP board certification exam administered by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN).
