School Details
Missouri Baptist University is a four-year private, not-for-profit institution of higher education, located in the city of Saint Louis, Missouri. The institution was established in 1957 as Saint Louis Baptist College due to a growing need for an evangelical Christian institution in the Saint Louis area. In 1964, the college was chartered as an evangelical Christian College and was renamed Missouri Baptist College. In August 2002, the Missouri Baptist College was officially renamed Missouri Baptist University. Missouri Baptist University aims to provide its students with “a learning environment that provides an ethical and moral basis from reasoning that goes beyond the mere accumulation of facts.”
The institution offers certificates, associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and doctorate degrees. The first online degree program was offered in 2008 and today students can enroll in hundreds of online classes and earn degrees completely online. Missouri Baptist University online has the goal of combining faith with world-class academics to deliver online programs that are “flexible, fast, and affordable.”
