These online degree rankings were calculated by comparing and analyzing tuition and distance education fees at 41 regionally accredited and regional candidate universities in the U.S that offer 84 distance bachelors degrees in the career areas of psychology, human services or social sciences. This is a ranking of the least expensive online bachelors. Colleges do not pay to be included in these rankings.
To appear on GetEducated’s Best Buy list the degrees profiled must objectively cost less than the average cost of all the online degrees reviewed in the comprehensive data set. The average cost for this data set was: $40,676
Rankings are based on a Spring 2009 survey of regionally accredited and regional candidate bachelors degrees in psychology, human services or social sciences. Costs were valid at the time of collection (Spring 2009).
